MISSION STATEMENT
The Light will be my first feature-length film working as Director of Photography. I am excited to employ all the skills I have developed throughout my studies and my work in the local industry. I also aim to utilise the skills of the competent crew surrounding me on the project. I will ensure to the best of my ability that Zack’s vision for ‘The Light’ reaches fruition. I believe organisation is key for success when it comes to shooting, so I will be heavily involved in the pre-production stages of the film, bouncing ideas off of my colleagues, utilising everyone's strengths so we can really nail the aesthetic. I will aim for the cinematography in the film to do justice to the beautiful setting of Kalgoorlie, to convey the character’s connections to the city, and further invest the audience in the events of the narrative. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop my skills, work with some very talented people, and produce something we can all be proud of.
